A festival celebrating ice and snow sculptures

An annual festival has opened in China, celebrating intricate sculptures made from snow and ice.

The Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival is a contest for ice and snow sculptors, who exhibit their creations around Heilongjiang Province during January.

The stunning sculptures include enormous castles, beautiful statues, and even a complex train installation made from ice.
